Pilot terms

These terms govern the grapplers.net and Grapplers iOS pilot. By submitting a host request or grappler application, you agree to these terms. Contact support@grapplers.net with questions.

What the pilot does

Grapplers reviews coaching needs and grappler applications and may propose an introduction or regional teaching route. A submission is only a request for review. It is not a confirmed booking, endorsement, employment offer, agency relationship, payment obligation, or promise of an introduction.

Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old. If you submit for a gym, academy, team, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to provide the submission and discuss a possible visit on its behalf.

Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate, current information and not misstate rank, competition history, teaching experience, affiliations, insurance, facility capabilities, attendance, or authority. We may request evidence, references, or corrections and may reject or remove a submission at any time.

Independent participants

Gyms and grapplers remain independent. They are responsible for evaluating each other, agreeing to final scope and terms, maintaining appropriate insurance and credentials, and complying with applicable law. Grappling involves risk of serious injury. Participants are responsible for safe instruction, supervision, facilities, medical decisions, and informed participation.

No payment in the pilot app

The current pilot does not process direct payments or digital-course purchases. If a proposed introduction advances, any compensation, travel, lodging, cancellation, tax, and insurance terms must be documented separately before the visit.

Evidence and submitted content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Grapplers permission to privately store, review, and reproduce it as needed to evaluate the submission and operate the pilot. We will ask separately before publishing a profile or using submitted media promotionally. You may submit only content and links you have the right to provide.

Acceptable use

You may not use Grapplers to harass, discriminate, defraud, impersonate, scrape private information, evade a suspension, facilitate unsafe conduct, or violate another person’s rights. The community standards are part of these terms.

Availability and changes

The pilot may change, pause, or end. We may decline requests, remove profiles, cancel a proposed route, or restrict access when needed for safety, quality, legal compliance, or pilot capacity.

Disclaimer and limitation

The pilot is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee credentials, availability, route formation, results, revenue, attendance, safety, or compatibility. To the extent permitted by law, Grapplers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the pilot or an interaction between participants.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
